MSMYC exists to cultivate and preserve the tradition of young people learning the sacred music of the Church. This project is set up in an all-state choir model. The pupils can access the sheet music on their own and the recorded parts in order for solo practices to be an option if it is not possible for the individual to attend an in-person practice group. The entire choir gathers early on the day of the concert in order to practice under the tutelage of the director. The concert is given that day. This allows for traveling to potentially be limited to once per choir season. Anyone willing to practice, be respectful, and work with the vision of the choir is welcome to participate.
